The Shade Project

The red building is the church and we constructed a new shade area, where it will be used for an outside class/gathering.

Our Outhouse Project

We built two outhouses in two days. To dig the holes, we used a gas-powered auger, electric jack hammer, & plenty of shovels to dig through dirt & rock. As the hole got deeper, you can only fit one person in the hole at a time and the dirt had to be hauled out with a bucket & rope.

By the first day, the hole was dug and the frame work & walls were completed. On the second day, we primed & painted the exterior and installed the doors & roof. Two completed outhouses ready to go!

It's a chilly morning at 6 a.m. and we're here down at church loading up the vehicles. We're all excited this morning and can't wait to leave. Keep praying for us.
